Appearance: Papaya displays a unique blend of his heritage, with a build that is slender for a Seawing but short and bulky compared to a typical Rainwing. His primary scales are shades of dusty blues and greens, accented by spiraling wing patterns typical of the Seawing royal family. He can shift the colors of his frills, wing membranes, and glowing scales, typically favoring palettes of pinks and purples or greens, yellows, and blues. Like a typical Rainwing, these colors often shift involuntarily in response to his emotions.

Personality: Papaya is a dedicated and hardworking administrator who is deeply committed to the success of the Shoreline Palace. He is a firm believer in cooperation and has little patience for Seawing elitism or anyone who treats their Mudwing allies as "guests." While generally professional, he can be easily irritated by those he perceives as pompous or unappreciative of the logistical effort required to maintain a peaceful, shared settlement.

Princess Anemone: One of Papaya's mothers. The daughter of the previous Seawing queen, Coral. Papaya holds a great deal of admiration for her.

Tamarin: One of Papaya's mothers. She taught him quite a lot about plant care, and he considers her to be a reliable, calming presence.

Gull: Papaya finds his cousin somewhat grating. He thinks Gull comes off as pompous, and that he lacks an appreciation for the work that goes into keeping the Shoreline Palace operational.

History: Born and raised in the Shoreline Palace, Papaya has never visited the Deep Palace due to his inability to breathe underwater. Despite this, he is a proud member of the royal family and has dedicated his life to his mother Anemone’s project of a shared settlement, and serves as an administrator of the Shoreline Palace, which is shared between the Mud Kingdom, the Rainforest Kingdom, and the Kingdom of the Sea. Papaya manages the daily operations of the palace.

He currently spends a significant amount of his time ensuring the balance of power between the Seawings and Mudwings remains equal, while simultaneously dealing with the "skulking" presence of his cousin Gull, who has recently become a persistent, albeit minor, headache in his administrative life.
