Appearance: Like most RainWings, Glory can shift her scale colors depending on her mood or for camouflage. However, she is best known for displaying beautiful shades of emerald green, bright blues, and vibrant oranges. Living in the rainforest has helped her scales to grow bright and shimmery, though her features remain sharp and muscular by Rainwing standards.

Personality: While age has helped to temper Glory’s anger and recklessness, she remains a quick thinker with a sharp wit and a fierce determination to follow her own path. She cares deeply about her kingdom and takes great pride in her citizens. She values cooperation and collaboration, but has little tolerance for being ordered around or manipulated.

History: From the moment she hatched, Glory was considered a disappointment. The backup plan. The failsafe. The prophecy had called for a Skywing egg as one of the five that would go on to end the War of Sandwing Succession and bring peace to Pyrrhia. But when the guardians of the prophesied dragonets were unable to obtain a Skywing egg, they took a Rainwing egg instead in a last-ditch effort to fulfill the prophecy.

Glory was raised with constant reminders from her guardians that she was not supposed to be there. Rainwings were seen as stupid and lazy, and it was taken for granted that Glory was not capable of learning the skills that were taught to the other dragonets. Glory developed a defensive fierceness, and a determination to prove everyone wrong about her.

Upon leaving the cave in which she was raised and traveling to the Rainforest Kingdom, she was happy to learn that many of the assumptions she had been taught about Rainwings were wrong. They were strong and capable, and their so-called ‘laziness’ was an adaptation that allowed them to draw strength from resting in the sun. However, she was shocked and horrified to learn that the current Rainwing queens, who took turns in the role, did not take their responsibilities seriously, and that they failed to take action even when Rainwings were mysteriously disappearing from the rainforest.

Glory knew that she needed to take action. She challenged the Rainwing queens for leadership of their kingdom, and with the help of her friends, she was able to overcome a series of trials in order to become the queen of the Rainforest Kingdom, and oversaw the Nightwings joining the kingdom.
